Last Thursday, I was goofing off with my co-workers working very hard in the office (my office-mates and me have a great time.) when my cell phone rang at 11am. It was Shaner, calling to say that he was on his way home and that they gave the shop a ‘96,’ meaning that he had a four day weekend and didn’t have to be back to work until Tuesday. As I posted over the weekend, the deck was finished on Friday and we spent the balance of the weekend either in the pool or on the deck. We also made a trip up to Poquoson to see Mandy and her family. It was a fabulous weekend.
Trevor is such a little fish this year. He can get all over the pool on his own and like any other kid, hates to get out of the water (no matter how cold!)
On Monday, we headed for Downtown Portsmouth for the Annual Memorial Day parade. It was a great time and Trevor had fun sitting on Shane’s shoulders waving at the people in the parade and waving his little American flag that he got at the parade.
waving at people in the parade.
Trevor didn’t know what to think of the marching band, hence the face.
Trevor loved waving his flag……and trying to steal daddy’s glasses.
Happy Memorial Day!
