Trevor's First Easter

This Easter was filled with blessings for us. This was the first Easter that Shane and I have spent together since we have been married, and most importantly we were sharing this Easter with our adorable son.

We began our Easter by going to the Easter Vigil on Saturday night. This is a tradition that Shane and I have had since before we were even engaged and we always make sure that we go to the Vigil, even when we aren't together. Trevor was so good for the entire three hour service--and slept right through it all. I was a little worried that the loud organ music or the clapping when people were baptized would wake him, but he was completely out. After mass we stayed around church for the reception for a little while before heading home to get some rest.

The next morning, we got up a little early and headed up to NoVa to my parent's house for the day. When we arrived after we got everything unloaded from the car (I still can't get over how much stuff we need even for a day trip with the baby) we all sat down for Easter brunch. We all hung out for a while and once Trevor went down for a nap Shane and I were not far behind him. After getting some rest, we went through Trevor's Easter baskets and took some pictures of him. After that we sat down to dinner. Here are a few pictures from our day:

It's amazing how much stuff they need just for a small outing! He's adorable :) Looks like you guys had a wonderful Easter!
